Was an okay spot I definitely agree with the great prices. The food amount was quite small in comparison to other places, but it's a nice comfortable restaurant to have lunch and catch up with friends. The spicy mongolian hot pot with beef and seafood was quite delicious.

The base broth was really lacking in body. Although it was very affordable, the quality just wasn’t there. All surfaces and menus feel sticky so you don’t feel clean or like hanging out much longer after you’re done. I'm comparing to Tasty Pot and Boiling Point, and this has to be bottom rung. I’ll be back to try the popcorn chx another day

Popcorn chicken, chicken wings & mushroom are the best I have ever tasted in California. I love their Mongolian soup base, high quality! The drinks we ordered were #5 (30% sugar), #7 (30% sugar) & #9. The sweetness is exactly what we wanted! We always come back whenever we are in town!!

I Absolutely enjoy eating Hotpots! This place is so perfect for me because they also offer my favorite Milk teas and Bobas, all in one spot! We came here 4 the first time and we are totally happy that we came across this Yummi Hotpot & Tea! Our Spicy Lamb and Seafood Mongolian with Ramen was definitely delicious and flavorful! Butterfly Milk Tea Boba was delightful! I will definitely be coming back to try a different Boba drinks and another kind of flavor of Hotpot here!

Update: We went there a couple of times and happy to report that its still amazing. They have new dessert options. Old Review: The aazing folks at Yummi Hotpot & Tea Cafe have kept the services and the food amazing as usual. I felt its time to update my review as its been a long time since I last reviewed them. Its a sweet little family run operation, we visit them once every 5-6 weeks and they've been consistent with the service, the food, the quality and the ambiance. Food: We've tried all the hotpot bases and the best one by far is the Curry and the 2nd best has been Spicy Mongolian. We always go for the ABC combo as they call it --> A is the Hotpot, B is the drink & C is the snack item. Getting the Combo gets you a nice discount which is like cherry on the hotpot ;) Ok, I'll get to the drinks and the snacks. We've tried many options and the best tea to pair with Curry is No. 17 which is the England Tea that comes with their Yummi (pun intended!) edd pudding. Snacks is something that we add an extra item ever since our baby became a toddler and started attacking our food! We go with the Popcorn chicken & the Taiwanese Chicken Steak. Lunch times are prefered by us during the weekend as the rush is low and we don't have to wait. All in all, these guys are awesome and they are very accomodating. We love visiting them every few weeks. ------- A friend and colleague suggested to try this place out for lunch today and I am really happy that we came here. We took Miso flavor and Curry flavor hot pots with Ramen on the side. I'll give the food and the ambiance full 5 on 5.

The Food Yummi Cafe have an interesting selection of hot pot, milk tea, and snacks. I ordered their Spicy Mongolian with Level 3 Hot. It was quite spicy and flavorful, but I feel it lacks a bit of ingredients when compared to other hot pot places. I did not get a chance to try their milk tea or their snacks. But you can get those separately or as a combination with the hot pot. The Miscellaneous The cafe is decent sized, with a good amount of seating to handle large parties. The service can slow down a bit when there's a full house, but they're sincere and quick to respond. Their menu is pretty straightforward, hot pot, milk tea, or snacks, or combination. They are price around the same as other similar hot pot places. Though their hot pot can improve, I would like to return to try their milk tea and snacks.

Call-in or be in-person for a cheaper order. Online orders are marked up a bit, but it's a good reference for menu items. Very interesting popcorn chicken! It is crunchy, flaky, and fragrant. One of the most unique popcorn chickens I had in the bay. I like mine flavored, so I powdered mine with a bit of spice, otherwise it will come plain. Will come again for the chicken!
